I’m sitting at Barnes & Nobles and at the table next to me there are several elderly folk. One of the old men is showing his online dating profile to the rest of them and the others are commenting on each of his matches. Apparently he’s so excited that one of them wants to meet him. Now his best friend (a lady) is sitting there saying “Oh no no no, she looks WAY too high maintenance. Oh no no that one is a Capricorn. Oh yes! This one loves to read and dance! Ah she’s scary look at her spiky hair. Oh my who’s that man in the picture with her? She just wants you to think she’s wanted. I don’t like that one. Oh look this girl wants to love someone! Oh SHE’s looking for adventure… Jerry, are you up for adventure?” and Jerry’s sitting there like “…do you think that’s her real picture?” I’m dying right now. This is gold.

Aw she just asked him, “If all these people are so interesting and amazing, why are they roaming around online looking for love?” and Jerry said “Because they’re as screwed up as I am.” Poor Jerry.

HAHAHA she just said “So you’re planning on taking her to dinner? That sounds expensive… Do you want me to get you a coupon?”

“Why do they all have their pictures of them in the kitchen? Are they trying to tell you they’ll cook for you? Oh she’s a little plump… But maybe she’s a nice lady. I just don’t understand why these people can’t find someone at the grocery store.”
